Like app but issue in last couple months when i try to access via wifi with no cell service

I love this app for the weather radars. However, In last couple of months something has changed with this app that causes it to be non-functional if i try to access the app with just wireless on my phone when i dont have a good cellular network signal. I get an error page and the only way for me to get the app to come back is to delete the app then reinstall it....which is a real pain. I have done this several times now and increasingly annoyed. App Developers - please fix this. I am loosing patience and about ready to search for an alternative source for my weather radars.
